Executive coaching for PE funds & portfolio companies

What a fund buys when they bring me in

You are not looking for a coach in the generic sense. You are looking for a fast, reliable lever to secure value creation at the leadership team level of a portfolio company.

That is exactly what I do.

The three situations where I intervene

Securing a key leader

  • Onboarding that needs to accelerate.

Executive presence to develop in front of the board.

Decision-making capacity to strengthen under pressure.

Risk of underperformance in a critical role.

I intervene to ensure the ramp-up is rapid and that the leader develops their full potential where it counts.

Removing an execution blocker

  • Blind spots, decision blocks, relational friction slowing down the implementation of the value plan.
  • The leader or C-level executive is capable — but results aren’t coming through.
  • Identify what is getting in the way, work on it directly, and connect every step forward to the priorities on your roadmap.

Aligning the leadership team

  • Implicit tensions in the ExCo, unclear roles between partners or leadership team members, collective accountability to rebuild around the growth plan.

I work in individual and group coaching, surfacing what doesn’t get said in meetings and translating it into better ways of working together.

What makes the difference

I spent twenty years in operational leadership in investor-backed and LBO environments. I was an Executive Committee member in listed companies and in performance-pressured structures. I co-founded a tech scale-up.

When I walk into a situation, I understand board pressure, the time constraints of an LBO, and the dynamics at play between a fund and its leadership team. This is not theory. It is my experience.

I am INSEAD-certified, an EMCC member, and I work in French and English in international contexts.

“Emma helps me step back and gain perspective on the challenges of my role and my business. She provides the tools to unblock operational situations and decode what is really going on. She has a sharp reading of complex situations and helps think through solutions.”
